Note: 1999 was the inaugural year.  In English, the race name is "Above the Clouds."  A shorter race was held for 1991-1993.  In 1991, the race was held over two days (28-29 Sep) with 15 km the first day and 4 km the second day.  On 12 Sep 1992 and 18 Sep 1993, the entire 19 km was run.  The race is off-road, starting at the Taganay National Park main entrance and including an ascent of Mount Kruglitsa (1178 m).  The course has been changed several times.  The orienteering club of Zlatoust is the organizer for this race.  In 2004, the race was run short due to rain on Mount Kruglitsa making footing dangerous. The recent course has 1400m of climb.
