Notes: 1967 was the inaugural year. The 1967 race was known as the Kiwanis Marathon. The 1979 course was short.
The 1978-79 races were out-and-back, the rest were point-to-point. The venue was
Palos Verdes Estates thru the 2000. The
1971 course was reported as 25.9 miles (41.68 km); the 1969 course has also been reported as short.
The marathon was discontined after the 2011 running due to increased costs; the
accompanying half marathon continues to be held.
