Notes: The inaugural year was 1953. This race was held in association with the Chunichi Marathon thru 1981.
In 1969, the race was moved to Toyohashi, about 60 km southeast of Nagoya. In 1975, this race was renamed the Chunichi
Speed Marathon. In 1982, the race was moved back to Nagoya (the marathon remained in Toyohashi). For the 1987 race,
the name was changed to the Nagoya Men's 30 km. The race distance (for men) was 20 km thru 1973, the race distance
for women was 20 km. The women's 20 km became the Nagoya
Women's Marathon in 1984. The 20 km course in 1982 was most likely
short.
