8.3 m/km. The 1974 race was held in Bozeman; the 1975 race was held in Missoula. Also known as the Ghost Town Marathon
for some years. The Governor's Cup Marathon became part of the Montana
Marathon, held in Billings in 2009. The distance for the 2002 race was
about 2 miles long, resulting from vandals moving some of the course markers.
