Notes: 1973 was the inaugural year. Race is from Davey Street in Frankston to the tip of of the Portsea peninsula . The original run took place in 1959 when Percy Cerrutty tipped Herb Elliott and others out of his car and said "Now run back to the [Portsea} camp.  The 2010 race was the last officially organized race due to issues with insurance and runner safety.  In 2011, an unofficial race was held with Mike Todaro (5:01:00) and Serena Wooldridge (5:00:17) being the first man and woman respectively.  The tradition was continued on 01 Apr 2012 with Brett Stickland (4:42:48) the first man (no women finished).
