Notes: 1953 was the inaugural year. Thru 1962, this race was run in Hull ENG and known as the Hull Marathon and was held on a course consisting of a single loop finishing at Costello Park in Hull. In 1963, the organizing group moved the race to nearby Beverley due to circumstances including the upgrading of the A63 trunk route. The race was renamed the East Riding Marathon. The race also served as the venue of the Yorkshire and Northern Counties AA championship after 1961.
