Course changes:
For 1863, due to construction of a cemetary, the course was altered to go by road to Lower Hillmorton rather than
thru the fields.
For 1938, from the Cemetary Crick, the course was shortened by starting at the first radio station field.
For 1965, the route to Crick was changed, apparently shortened.
For 1993, the route had to be shortened on the way to Crick.
For 1997, a longer route by the road at Barby replaced a route thru the fields.
Most Wins (1838-date)
This race is held by the Rugby School and is restricted to 17 and 18 year olds. Hence, it is not possible for a runner to achieve three wins.
