Notes: 1973 was the inaugural year.  The race distance in 1973 was reported as 11.5 km.  The race distance prior to 1997 was reported as 11.88 km.  The race distance was changed to 12 km for the 1997 race.  The course currently starts at the Festival Theatre in King William Street (39m elevation) and finishes in Moseley Square (4m elevation), dropping 2.9 m/km.  Some years had a significant tail wind which, coupled with the net drop, produced times that are statistically invalid (shown in tan).The 2014 and 2015 times are net times.  The 2000 race was run later than usual due to the Olympic Games.  Times for 2017 are assumed to be net times.
