Notes: 1958 was the inaugural year. For 1958-1973, the race was run at the marathon distance and was known as the Hokkai Times Marathon. For 1974-1986, the race was known as the Times 30K, the men ran 30K and starting in 1981, a women's 20K was added. In 1986, the women's distance was changed to a half marathon and then, from 1987, both men and women have run the half marathon distance. The race has been known as the Sapporo International Half Marathon since 1990.  In 1995. Izumi Maki (JPN) finished 1st in 1:10:10 but was later disqualified for failing a drug test.
