Criteria for Inclusion in the ARRS Database
All performances by time qualified runners are eligible for inclusion
in the ARRS database. A runner is time qualified if he/she meets any one of the performance standards
listed below.
Runners who do not qualify on the basis of time may
qualify as "other" if they meet one or more of the following standards: (1) if
he/she wins a single prize purse of US$1000 or more, (2) if he/she wins a
marathon, or (3) if he/she meets one or more of the time qualifying standards
for veterans (40+) (www.arrs.net/VetRec.htm).
Peformances by other qualified runners are included in the database if (1) the
distance is marathon or longer, (2) if they win prize money of any amount, (3)
if they win a national championship, or (4) if they post a gun time in a
standard distance race on a certified course and are over age 40 at the time of
the performance.
